Zoznam zariadení

Ak s nami chcete spolupracovať, alebo potrebujete naše odborné znalosti pri analýze vašich vzoriek a/alebo pri interpretácii vašich výsledkov, nasledujúci zoznam zariadení vám poskytne predstavu o vedeckej práci vykonávanej na Katedre anorganickej chémie:

 

Anodization setup – DC power supply

  • LAB/SMS 3100 (ET system) with a voltage range 0-100 V and current density up to 30 A.

  • 2260B-250-4 360W (Keithley – Tektronix company) with multi-range voltage and current density

  • NPS1003D (WanpTek) with voltage range 0-100 V and current density up to 3 A.

Dissolved oxygen and conductivity multi-meter

  • HI6000 housing unit (HANNA instruments) equipped with (i) HI6000-4 DO hardware module for the analysis of dissolved oxygen using an optical probe equipped with SmartCapTM and (ii) HI6000-3 EC hardware module for the analysis of conductivity using a Pt 4-ring conductivity prove with internal sensor.

    Flash Chromatography

    • Flash chromatograph (Teledyne Labs CombiFlash NextGen 300+): Flow rate 1-300 mL/min, working pressure 10-20 bar, UV-VIS DAD with real-time display of eluent spectrum and possibility of collecting specific components based on molar mass and purity.

    Furnaces

    • LE 05/11 (LAC) mufle furnace with Ht40P regulator for heating up to 1100 °C

    • 3013L (CLASIC) mufle furnace with integrated regulator for heating up to 1300 °C

    • 1313L (CLASIC) mufle furnace with integrated regulator for heating up to 1250 °C 

    • 4013T (CLASIC) tube furnace with CLARE 4.0 regulator for heating up to 1300 °C under either air, N2 or Ar atmosphere.

    High-Performance Liquid Chromatography

    • HPLC 1260 Infinity III (Agilent) equipped with binary pump, thermostated vial-sampler, and multi-column thermostat and DAD detector. The analytical is CDS OpenLab from Agilent.
    • HPLC (Hitachi-Merck) equipped with autosampler (AS-2000), intelligent pump (L-6200A), UV-VIS detector (L-4250) and fluorescence spectrophotometer (F-1050). The analytical software is ChromNav from Jasco.

    Rq: currently, the installed column is a C18 column (Hypersil Gold – Thermo Fisher Scientific) and the solvents are water, methanol and acetonitrile.

    Hydrothermal reactors – Stainless Steel Autoclaves

    • HTC230-V-100 (COL-INT-TECH) for max. P = 15 MPa and max. T = 200 °C.

    • HTC230-V-2 (COL-INT-TECH) for max. P = 15 MPa and max. T = 200 °C.

    Rq: The reactors are equipped with Teflon chambers.

    Photoreactors 

    • Foto-Sihor (homemade box photoreactor) equipped with 2 to 4 lamps: either UVA (Sylvania BL350-15W with 5 µW/cm² UVA and 35 µW/cm² total at 1 m distance) or UVA-UVB (Sylvania Reptistar with 30% UVA and 5% UVB). 

    • Vertical tubular photoreactor equipped with 3 and 6 lamps: either UVA (Sylvania BL368-15W with 5 µW/cm² UVA and 35 µW/cm² total at 1 m distance) or UVA-UVB (Sylvania Reptistar with 30% UVA and 5% UVB).

    • UVA irradiation setup with 1.5 mW/cm² in the range 335-380 nm at 12 cm.

    Rq: Cut-off filters (350 nm, 400 nm and 430 nm) can be integrated to the above-mentionned photoreactors.

    Polarising Microscope

    • Polarizing stereomicroscope (Zeiss Stemi 508) equipped with a rotary stage: Magnification 2-250x and Axiocam ERc 5s camera.

    Spin-Coater

    • E461 (Ossila) for deposition of sol-gel precursors.

    Total Organic Carbon Analyzer

    • TOC-L (Shimadzu) for analysis of dissolved carbon in aqueous solutions: analysis from 4 µg/L to 30000 mg/L using 680 °C combustion catalytic oxidation method using air gas carrier and IR detection. The TOC-L can analyze TC (Total Carbon), IC (Inorganic Carbon) and TOC (Total Organic Carbon). The TOC-L is equipped with an autosampler (OCT-L 8-port sampler) for simplified automatic measurements.

    Ultrasonic probe

    • UZD 300 (Person) with a power of 300 W and frequency of 20 kHz.

    Ultrafast Femto-Second Laser

    • Solstice ACE (Spectra-Physics) equipped with Q-witch pulse laser setup, light conversion TOPAS Prime, autocorrelator and UV-VIS-NIR spectrophotometer (Ocean Optics) suitable for Z-scan, two-photon characterization, fluorescence of liquid samples and thin layers, and two-photon micorscopy: wavelength range 470-3000 nm, DAD (spectrophotometer) - Photodiode detector (Z-scan) - Photomultiplier detector, autocorrelator in red region (520-750 nm) NIR region (750-1000nm) and IR region (1000-1600nm).

    Spectral techniques

    • UV-VIS-NIR spectrophotometer (Agilent Cary 5000) equipped with Praying Mantis Diffuse Reflectance Accessory (DRA)

    • Multicell UV-VIS-NIR spectrophotometer (Agilent Cary 3500) measuring up to 7 samples simultaneously (with temperature control between -5°C to 110°C for 4 zones) in Absorbance, Transmittance, Kinetics (with possibility of magnetic stirring): wavelength range 190-1100 nm, max scan speed 150000 nm/min, Xe light source 
    • FTIR spectroscopy (Thermo Scientific Nicolet 6700) using KBr tablet, Nujol suspension and ATR modes: wavenumber range 350-12000 cm-1, semi-transparent mirrors KBr (to 4000 cm-1) and CaF2 (to 12000 cm-1), detectors DLaTGS (to 4000 cm-1) and InGaAs (to 12000 cm-1). The device is equipped with a Raman modul (NXR) for solid compound, liquid (in NMR tube) and aqueous solution: wavenumber range 100-4350 cm-1.
    • Bruker Tensor 27 FTIR equipped with PMA 50 in IR and VCD modes: wavenumber range 370-7500 cm-1, KBr semi-transparent mirror, DLaTGS detector
    • UV-VIS-NIR spectrofluorometer (Edinburgh Instruments FS5) in Emission, Excitation, Transmission, Lifetime, Kinetics modes, suitable for solutions, powders, crystals and equipped with exchangeable modules SC5 standard, SC10 front face, SC26 temperature control and stirrer (-40°C - 150 °C) and SC30 integration sphere: wavelength range 200-1000 nm, light sources Xe lamp and picosecond laser, detectors fluorescent photomultiplier (Hamamatsu R928P) and transmission Si-photodiode
    • FTIR spectrometer (Agilent Cary 630)
    • Double-beam UV-VIS spectrophotometer (Jasco V-530) measuring in Absorbance and Transmittance modes: wavelength range 190-1100 nm, scan speed 40-4000 nm/min, Si photodiode detector.

    X-ray Difraction

    • Single-crystal diffractometer (Rigaku Oxford Synergy-S) equipped Cu and Mo microfocus X-ray sources, arc hybrid pixel array detector (Rigaku HyPix Arc 100°), and sample cooling system down to 28K (Oxford Cryosystems N-Helix)

    • Powder diffractometer (Rigaku SmartLab SE) equipped with Cu X-ray source, hybrid pixel array 2D/1D/0D detector (Rigaku HyPix-400 SLXE), and Bragg&Brentano - Debye&Scherrer (rotating capillary holder) - parallel beam (in both horizontal and vertical detector positions) arrangements.
