Anodization setup – DC power supply
LAB/SMS 3100 (ET system) with a voltage range 0-100 V and current density up to 30 A.
2260B-250-4 360W (Keithley – Tektronix company) with multi-range voltage and current density
NPS1003D (WanpTek) with voltage range 0-100 V and current density up to 3 A.

Furnaces
LE 05/11 (LAC) mufle furnace with Ht40P regulator for heating up to 1100 °C
3013L (CLASIC) mufle furnace with integrated regulator for heating up to 1300 °C
1313L (CLASIC) mufle furnace with integrated regulator for heating up to 1250 °C
- 4013T (CLASIC) tube furnace with CLARE 4.0 regulator for heating up to 1300 °C under either air, N2 or Ar atmosphere.

High-Performance Liquid Chromatography
- HPLC 1260 Infinity III (Agilent) equipped with binary pump, thermostated vial-sampler, and multi-column thermostat and DAD detector. The analytical is CDS OpenLab from Agilent.
- HPLC (Hitachi-Merck) equipped with autosampler (AS-2000), intelligent pump (L-6200A), UV-VIS detector (L-4250) and fluorescence spectrophotometer (F-1050). The analytical software is ChromNav from Jasco.
Rq: currently, the installed column is a C18 column (Hypersil Gold – Thermo Fisher Scientific) and the solvents are water, methanol and acetonitrile.

Hydrothermal reactors – Stainless Steel Autoclaves
HTC230-V-100 (COL-INT-TECH) for max. P = 15 MPa and max. T = 200 °C.
HTC230-V-2 (COL-INT-TECH) for max. P = 15 MPa and max. T = 200 °C.
Rq: The reactors are equipped with Teflon chambers.

Photoreactors
Foto-Sihor (homemade box photoreactor) equipped with 2 to 4 lamps: either UVA (Sylvania BL350-15W with 5 µW/cm² UVA and 35 µW/cm² total at 1 m distance) or UVA-UVB (Sylvania Reptistar with 30% UVA and 5% UVB).
Vertical tubular photoreactor equipped with 3 and 6 lamps: either UVA (Sylvania BL368-15W with 5 µW/cm² UVA and 35 µW/cm² total at 1 m distance) or UVA-UVB (Sylvania Reptistar with 30% UVA and 5% UVB).
UVA irradiation with 1.5 mW/cm² in the range 335-380 nm at 12 cm.
Rq: Cut-off filters (350 nm, 400 nm and 430 nm) can be integrated to the above-mentionned photoreactors.

Spectral techniques
Double-beam UV-VIS spectrophotometer (Jasco V-530) measuring in Absorbance and Transmittance modes: wavelength range 190-1100 nm, scan speed 40-4000 nm/min, Si photodiode detector.
- Multicell UV-VIS spectrophotometer (Agilent Cray 3500) measuring up to 7 samples simultaneously (with temperature control between -5°C to 110°C for 4 zones) in Absorbance, Transmittance, Kinetics (with possibility of magnetic stirring): wavelength range 190-1100 nm, max scan speed 150000 nm/min, Xe light source
- FTIR spectroscopy (Thermo Scientific Nicolet 6700) using KBr tablet, Nujol suspension and ATR modes: wavenumber range 350-12000 cm-1, semi-transparent mirrors KBr (to 4000 cm-1) and CaF2 (to 12000 cm-1), detectors DLaTGS (to 4000 cm-1) and InGaAs (to 12000 cm-1)
- Raman modul (NXR) for solid compound, liquid (in NMR tube) and aqueous solution: wavenumber range 100-4350 cm-1, KBr semi-transparent mirror, DLaTGS detector
- Bruker Tensor 27 FTIR equipped with PMA 50 in IR and VCD modes: wavenumber range 370-7500 cm-1, KBr semi-transparent mirror, DLaTGS detector
- UV-VIS spectrofluorometer (Edinburgh Instruments FS5) in Emission, Excitation, Transmission, Lifetime, Kinetics modes, suitable for solutions, powders, crystals and equipped with exchangeable modules SC5 standard, SC10 front face, SC26 temperature control and stirrer (-40°C - 150 °C) and SC30 integration sphere: wavelength range 200-1000 nm, light sources Xe lamp and picosecond laser, detectors fluorescent photomultiplier (Hamamatsu R928P) and transmission Si-photodiode
