"Climate Fresk" workshop
The French Institute in Slovakia is organising a "Climate Fresk" workshop on Wednesday 26 April from 15:00 to 18:00. at its premises (Sedlárska 358/7, in the center of Bratislava). You will find information about this project below.
What is a Climate Fresk?
A Climate Fresk is a fun and collaborative workshop that helps to understand climate issues in their entirety, starting from the causes and going up to the effects on human societies. It is a neutral and objective tool, based on data from the scientific reports of the IPCC (Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change), and allows all audiences to engage in a constructive exchange.
How does a Climate Fresk work?
The way it works is very simple. A Climate Fresco is created in groups of about six people, gathered around a table. A facilitator gradually presents the group with cards representing the different components of climate change. The group must then work together to find the cause and effect links between these components, by positioning and linking them together, and possibly adding drawings or words. The facilitator is there to help the group and answer their questions. The final result is a large fresk that shows the interdependence of the elements of climate change, and allows the levers for action to be discussed.

The Climate Fresk at the French Institute in Slovakia
Our workshops will be led by a team from the partner associations of the Climate Fresco in Austria and the Czech Republic. They can be held in either French or English and can accommodate a maximum of 36 participants in the library of the French Institute in Slovakia (Sedlárska 358/7, in the center of Bratislava). All you need is the desire to discuss the climate issue. If, at the end of the workshop, you are interested in helping to spread the Climate Fresk in Slovakia, the facilitators will be happy to inform you.
Registration must be done by Friday 21 April at the latest via the following online form:
