Prospects of graduates

Graduates of the department have long been employed in the field of the environment, whether

 

• in state institutions (STATE GEOLOGICAL INSTITUTE OF DIONÝZ ŠTÚR (ŠGÚDŠ), Water research institute (VÚVH), SLOVAK ENVIRONMENT AGENCY (SEA), SLOVAK ENVIRONMENTAL INSPECTORATE (SIŽP), MINISTRY OF ENVIRONMENT OF thE SLOVAK REPUBLIC (MOE SR),
• in private companies focused on surveys and remediation (DEKONTA Slovensko, spol. s r.o. , EPS Slovensko, s.r.o. , CENTRUM ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICES, s.r.o. (CENVIS), HES-COMGEO spol. s r.o.),
• in environmental impact assessment - EIA (EKOCONSULT-enviro, a.s. , REMING CONSULT, a.s., ENVIROSAN spol. s r.o.),
• in waste management (NATUR-PACK, a.s.),
• as well as in positions related to the environment in multinational companies (VOLKSWAGEN SLOVAKIA, a.s. , HENKEL SLOVENSKO, spol. s.r.o., CRH (Slovakia) a.s.). 

 

If interested, it is possible for students to arrange a short-term work in one of these organizations in the form of an internship, during which they could get acquainted with a specific issue or participate in fieldwork.
