Open Postdoctoral position – inorganic nanocrystals syntheses

Laboratory for Advanced Materials (LAM) is seeking a motivated researcher to conduct state-of-the-art research in the field of Syntheses of Inorganic Nanocrystals. The work in this area will focus primarily on chemical synthesis of quantum confined inorganic nanocrystals by modern colloidal synthesis methods.

Qualification requirements for interested candidates:

• Recently completed PhD in Chemistry, Material Science or related field Experience with nanocrystal colloidal syntheses or organometallic chemistry synthesis
• Experience with characterization of inorganic nanocrystals by TEM, absorption and emission spectroscopies and other standard characterization tools
• Experience with electrochemical methods is a plus
• Professional knowledge of written and spoken English language
• Strong publication record
