Research Interest: My research is focused on the diversity as well as on the morphological and genetic variability of ciliates epibiotic on freshwater crustaceans. I mainly study the following ciliate groups: Peritrichia, Suctoria, Chonotrichia, and Litostomatea. I also investigate their molecular evolution through the primary and secondary structures of their ribosomal and mitochondrial genes.
